Uni Receives Better Mobile Coverage

STAFF and students at the University of Newcastle will have improved mobile telephone coverage following the installation of a digital base station.
"This project is the result of direct customer feedback and will significantly benefit residents in North Lambton, Callaghan, Birmingham Gardens and Jesmond, as well as students and staff on the university campus," Telstra Country Wide area general manager Martin Adlington said. Coverage improvements are planned for Killingworth, Belmont Hospital, Cooranbong and Awaba.
